If you've played through this game and find yourself wanting more, go to amazon and pick up a copy of Jordan Mechner's "The Last Express." Historical fiction featuring WWI and the fall of the Romanov Dynasty. Standard point and click adventure interface, EXTREMELY touchy time mechanics, excellent stop-motion and regular video sequences. (All video is illustrated, similar to A Scanner Darkly.)

Time Mechanics: The plot is mostly linear with a few definite endings. Nearly all events can be missed. If you realize you've missed an event, you can bring up a window that features a Fabrege clock. Rewind the clock hands to the last major plot point and you can try it again. (All the way back to Paris, if you wish...) Also, the 'live' violin music is not to be missed!
