My first post here, I'd like to use this opportunity to say how great this page is! good work, guys! k:

Anyway, my only gripe with this game is the music. I used to play this one over 10 years ago, and the music was much better (though using less instruments/channels), especially the introduction tunes were much more melancholic. On the other hand the 32 color portraits looked like crap on the Amiga.

This game rocks. I remember getting up at 7am and playing until 2pm. It took me about three weeks of this to finally beat the game heh

I don't know if this is a problem, or the game is just like that, but the game itself has no sound (the intros have). I use DOSBox and VDMSound.

Play the game in DosBox and set the sound to Adlib or Soundblaster. One of them would work, I think.

Yeah - see if adlib works for you. Otherwise maybe check dosbox's settings for it's sound settings. Maybe there's something wrong there. I wonder if VDMSound and Dosbox could be clashing somehow?

I don't think so. I have both installed for any case, but have no problems with games...
