The "print thread" does not print the content of the thread out on a printer. All it does is showing a printable version, which also happens to be more convenient when you are looking through the thread for certain information.
Go to [Options]-->[Print This Topic] to see how it looks. The problem is, it cuts off posts after a certain date (no "next page" button here). The problem appeared with longer threads before, true, but now the cut-off seems to be a bit earlier, it seems.
