Patience is obviously not yours, isn't it?  Still the same answer: Try dosbox for KOM. Works flawless in it. You say you have the game, do you mean the CD? When mounted correctly in dosbox it works fine. And don't bite my head off if you don't have the CD, you didn't say so.
