![]() Yes I seem to be having various graphics problems with blood omen (the usual game completely locks after the bar tenders first line so not even ALT-TAB etc works problems mentioned on several threads). I suspect it's due to the game no liking the fairly new graphics card)... It's kind of a catch 22 in that the patch Blood Omen would solve this problem, but the game then asks for a cd, and the cracked version won't run... (If anyone has any ideas that i'm missing i'd be very grateful)
If not I'll just have to wait until I get back home and drag out the old PC still runnig win98... |

![]() same for me - i start it and after the bartender's line, i cant do anything... waited some time, still couldnt do anything, it did only respond to ctrl+alt+del...
and if i chose anything else besides "new game" it crashes to desktop... maybe it requires outdated versions of dx? where can i get those? |

![]() If you own a single core CPU, you're in luck. All you need is a cpu killer, which adds additional load to the CPU, fire it up and set it to 50% or so. That should fix the synch problem with the bartenders line, which causes the game to lock up.
http://www.cpukiller.com/ Dunno if it works with multi-core ones as well.
