This game is good on stratagie in some aspects.But the one thing I always disliked was the way they forced the game to end.Because you haft to attack,you just can't keep a sizable defense force to thwart attacks.The computer will soon build a force that you just won't have resource to build.But that is the last race any way.

Yeah- I played long ago and it inspired me. Wish the computer-run things were proportionate to yours. I also wish you could keep playing forever and have a nice sorta record for the sake of it. I got stuck trying to figure out how to build tanks and I already had spy ships- the backwardness of the design in technologies told me I missed something. I was put off because they kept attacking my home planet and you couldn't establish base on some other planet. Minerals needed to build ships was slightly disproportionate as well. Start should have included normal, hard, easy, super hard and ultra easy modes or something but well... That game gave me something for my imagination to play on for a while so it's relatively cool, I got other games now, see.

Hmm, strange. Never even heard of this game. I think this is so far the only game on Abandonia I hadn't heard about before.

Also, something like 90% of Abandonia's games I had played myself before I even found the site. (What do you mean 'nerd'? :P)

umm... how exactly do you devolop wepons and getting to other sol systems?

cuse in the game I just played I had about 4 minning planets and one new colony and I still could not reserch anything like wepons or travel to anather system an them so goddamned aliean race (the mougalans or something sorta like that) came and said somthing that was not understandable and then.......... they killed me! :shock:

so what do I do!?!?

It's one of the best games ever made IMO... but it's so damn hard and long :evil:

Can't get that game to start, by using that start.exe, the logo appears, i may choose new game and choosing hero too, but right after that first intro, game crashes...

Any ideas?

Well, short blink of a DOS window tells me i got too little memory. This is pretty impossible, but game still crashes when trying to start it with Windows XP. ..
