The graphics are similar to Space Quest I EGA. The game starts with the protagonist walking by a wall. There is a castle in the distance. If you walk straight left you'll find a tree first; then, you arrive to a beach where there is a ship.

Got a vague suspicion that it might be an obscure game called Myth Master. Wasn't able to find any pictures or videos online, but there is a download link here: http://www.download-full-games.com/p...th_master.html

IIRC the game was distributed as shareware, but non-Scott Miller-style, meaning that the full game is available without registration.
