D/Generation
Hello.
I need help remembering the name of an Amiga game. You controlled a little chap from an isometric viewpoint. The game was set in a skyscraper and you had to sneak past various droids and things and make it to the next floor. The colour scheme was neon(ish). It was sort of like Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters, only a lot less action based. From what I remember, you had to shoot things but it wasn't gung ho. Anyone help? Thanks in advance. |

Nope, but bizarrely, when I went to look for images of Elevator Mission, I found it, so thanks!
It was called D Generation. See here for info. http://eager.back2roots.org/DATA/D/DGEN.HTML Great game. |

Glad to see that you have found it, but we can't add it on site since there isn't a dos version.

D-Generation
My first post......
Saw another users post on a similar subject and I thought I'd give it a go too. I've been looking for a game I used to play that was marketed as the "first ever Virtual Reality game". In fact it didn't have much to do with VR at all. Basically it was a puzzle game where you had to work your way from the bottom floor to the top floor of a company building that had been developing some sinister new security prototypes (I remember one tricky bouncing cylinder thing that squashed me a huge number of times). From memory, you worked there until the prototypes got loose and destroyed the place. Its up to you to rescue the survivors and escape. You basically solved puzzles to make your way (touch the coloured squares to open the door in the next room/push the box over to the touchpad to open the elevator/etc) and generally destroyed the baddies till you get to the final bad guy - an exploding version of yourself (I never beat him). The view was an angled down, 3D, grid based look. Anyone help with the name? |

A few details don't quite fit, but the rest is a dead-on match for D-Generation.

And it somehow didn't get reviewed yet (I uploaded the archive for that one way back in 2005). I think I should do something about that in next few weeks...
