Hey everyone,
We used to have an old text based game on our computer when I was about 10 or so (would be around 1990). My father and I used to play it but could never beat it. Needless to say we've had new computers since then and never transfered it over from the old 5in floppy it was on. I've recently been searching for it and came across this place, maybe you all can help. It started you out where you've fallen into a hole/shaft and you're underground in something like an old millitary bunker. There's bunks, a kitchen and a rocket/shuttle. That's about all I remember. I've been through the games on the main site and it's none of those I don't believe, although I did download a few. Thanks for any help, -Marc M.

Had it not been for the Space Shuttle, then I would've said Alice in Wonderland. It fits the time you gave, since it was made in 1989.
Other than that, I do not know. Maybe someone else remembers it k:

Eventually.
It only took me 5 years to reply to my own thread. Not too bad? So9, I'm checking out the ZZT games you suggested and haven't found anything that triggers my memory just yet, but I'll keep searching. 2 posts in half a decade, I guess no one can accuse me of being a post *****. |

LOL - welcome home, my prodigal son...
This could be one of any of a number of IF games, man. I'd recommend Deep Space Drifter (a TADS game) as it sounds similar, except for the bunker bit. Have a browse here: http://www.wurb.com/if/ It's fairly comprehensive and we're adding to it as time goes on. Luchsen introduced me to this site - if he can't think of it, I don't know who can |
