[color=red][b][font=Arial][size=7]I have a problem with the game running like a snail. it works but its cut up and laggy. any ideas as to how to make dosbox speed it up to how it should be on a normal w98 comp. we used to have one and it ran fine but now with xp i have to use dosbox and its like im playing the game on a 486. any ideas?

I just downloaded the game and the download has killed my nerves. I have a real bad connection(don´t know why,but sometimes i am kicked out of the net) so I had to start this download 3times. Now I have it, but it doesn´t work!! When I´m trying to start the install.exe or regret.exe, I get the message "Fatal Error 286.3330: General protection fault detected." Under it there are some infos like "PID=0001"and so on...
So can anybody help me? (And please don´t say I´ve to start the download again)

Did you play the game in DosBox? This is a useful program for playing old Dos-games. You can get it on this site.

I tried it with VDM-Sound, which normally works better than Dosbox. In Dosbox Crusader isn´t getting started at all. All I see there is this lovely black screen...

BOTH Crusader games are EXCLUSIVELY DosBox games. You can only play them through either REAL DOS or through DosBox.

When I start Crusader in DosBox it crashes because of "Cache Override", actually DosBox said so...

be sure to use the latest version of dosbox.

I´m using DosBox 0.61 ,but just recognized that there is a 0.62version available and I´m downloading it. Let´s see what happens with the silencer...

New version, problem solved and another problem appeared... Neither install.exe nor regret.exe are working correct. When I´m trying to execute install.exe then I see it´s "unable to open file h:\idata\fonts.dat" and if i execute regret.exe then the screen is scrolling down all the time with the words "fatal error 286....".
