So, I'm quite fond of pixels and pixel art, which may not be a surprise seeing as I'm here on a abandonware page, sometimes this fondness of pixels take the upper hand and I feel compelled to express my artistic side, this is the result of such a moment, it's not finished yet though:
A pixel forest, using about 40 colors or so. Actually I've just picked it up again after a couple of months of dust gathering. |

It's a dreamy scene. Simple, though it has real magic. I can't stop looking at it. Well done, Wired.

if my memory serves me well. Well done Wired. I've been meddling with Pixel art myself to a couple of years ago so I know what you have been through to make this |

I'm not really into pixel art but I've been looking at this piece of art for about a dozain time now and everytime I look at it again I can't stop but thinking that this is really one of the sharpest and most beautiful pixel art I ever seen.
So this would rank extremely high in my book. Great work. k: |

Well, thanks everyone. And yeah, it has teken quite some time to do, especially as I only use the mouse (I'm to cheap to buy a tablet). The program I used was: GrafX 2, a great program for those who like to pixel, and free so that helps.
And here is 3 pictures to show how the image evolved, beginning, middle and well not last but latest. First: Second: Third: Here's a avatar I made that shows the character I intend to add to the final image... whenever it's finished: oooh, look mommy, it's death! |
