![]() It might sound stupid, but did you try doing it in the same way as for the older versions?

![]() all of the guides refer to a section in dosbox.conf that doesn't exist so that causes a little confusion. plus IPX in dosbox is a little confusing anyway

As far as I can see ( I will try a set up later when I have time ) you first start a server on one of the computers with 'IPXNET STARTSERVER' and then connect to it from the other computer with ' IPXNET CONNECT ' and just add the IP address of the computer running the server to the end of the command ie: ' IPXNET CONNECT 10.0.0.15 ' . to check the status and see if the computers are connected you can use ' IPXNET PING ' This should then run a virtual ipx network over the TCP/IP network that you have in place so you would obviously need to be connected to the other computer via TCP/IP first it appears to indicate that Inet connection would be fine , although if you are behind a firewall or router you will need to configure them to allow pass through - the section of the CONF file is as below, just change it to ' true ' - [ipx] # ipx -- Enable ipx over UDP/IP emulation. ipx=false Serial modem connection - The server needs to be set up in the DOSBox configuration file like this: serial1=nullmodem The client: serial1=nullmodem server: |
