I'm one of those lucky guys who has an dedicated DOS/W95-machine. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make a network with my WindowsXP-laptop and my Windows95-machine. My laptop was the one with the broadband internet connection, but to get those games on my W95-pc I had to burn all those games on a cd. So the save on the cd's I planted a networkcard in my W95-machine but it's hard to get a good firewall for a W95-machine. What I want is to take the W95 of the net and put in a network with my laptop so I can download games, protected with the latest firewalls and scanners, and then move them to the W95-machine.

Problem is, I can't get the network connection going. I googled around, but found no satisfying answers. Is there anybody out there to help me with this? Or should I buy two zipdrives, because I'm not happy with the current setup (quite vulnerable W95 hooked to the web)

that wouldn't do any good for the win95 box though. It doesn't come with the drivers for the flash media. In order to do that, you would need to put the driver on the floppy. Even still, when win95 was released, very little was known about USB. Depending on what release of win95 he has, he may or may not be able to do it at all.
