I simply love Billy Joel's music, it's some of the best composed marvels in musical history.
In my opinion his best song is Movin' Out. |

I gained a newfound respect for Joel when I was forced to see that stupid musical based around his work. It sucked, but the guys who played the music were damn good.
I like Piano Man, myself. |

Always a Woman and Pianoman are my favorites from him. He has some nice songs but only for when I'm in an oversentimental mood.

Wait, I just got the essential Billy Joel, and I see it has River of Dreams, it may not sound familiar but this song was used so damn much in jungle oriented movies.
It's replaced Movin' Out! |

Well the Piano Man is a classic that always gives me shivers (really dangerous when listening to it in the car while driving), but I don't know why - I prefer River of Dreams. It's so disgustingly upbeat - I just can't help getting in a good mood if a hear it.

Billy Joel is kinda like piano-rock-blues.
Certainly not country, though. Think Elton John. |
