So I'm about to go into my junior year of college majoring in game design and this morning I just had the marines call me and of course wanting to recruit me and I told the recruiter I was majoring in game design and he asked what games I played and I told him, "older games" and he goes, "oh, like what exactly?" and I didn't quite know what to tell him given everything I play is so obscure so I looked at the game boxes on my desk holding the longest "uh" I have ever spoken and saw Chasm, Descent II, Driver, and Resident Evil and told him, "like the first Resident Evil."
Just thought I'd share that story. I'm sure I'd get a "what the fuck?" if I said, "I play games like Chasm, and Azrael's Tear, and Neverhood, and ZPC"
Though I guess I could've told him Deus Ex and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and he would've gotten it... maybe...
