![]() Sorry if this is somewhere else, but...
I have a windows 7 and have downloaded DOSBox0.74 from BOSBox.com. I'm trying to play some games, mainly the three Zorks, and have no idea what to do. If anyone can help, I will thank your face. |

![]() OK, thanks. But is there any way to dumb it down a bit? Here, let me put it in perspective. Let's say comparatively you're a college professor, I'm an infant. I'm completely lost.

![]() OK, I read over the DOS for Beginners thread and it says to put each game in a sub-category. I don't know what that means. I'm also typing "mount C C:\OLDGAMES" which is verbatum the name of the file I made, anyway, when I type it in, it gives me "Directory C:\OLDGAMES does not exist" I don't know where to go from here.

![]() Is a directory the same as a file? What is a directory?

![]() If you're familiar with what Windows calls "folders", that's the same thing as we call directories.
They are similar to files, but unlike files - which contain data - directories contain other directories and files. |

![]() This is a newbie-proof tutorial, you won't learn much but the drag'n-drop method could be a temporary solution:
http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/showthread.php?t=17498 But I really suggest you to follow the tutorials that Horseman linked you. |
