Another question
One of my favorite things about civ2 was the High Council. For obvious reasons this feature has been deleted from the CD-rip that is on the site. My question now is as long as you have the avi files for the high council is it possible to reintegrate them back into the game? If so how? And if possible, would Kosta be willing to put those avi files on the site (I can get those avi's)?

That much????? Wow, I was thinking it would be maybe 30mb's or so. Those vids where tiny. Probably uncompressed avi's then. Not worth the trouble of putting that up if oyu ask me.

If you have the Original Civ2, just place those vids in a directory... just like in the original installation..

I'll zip those files and see how big they are. If they reach a civilized size (around 50MB), I'll send you personal messages with the link!

thanks
in return I'll see if I have some old abandonware games around here well i've got A4 network$ which is a lot like transport tycoon I know it was never released in the US and was sold in a select few european countries however it was a commercial game in Japan and has a new sequel (in 3d) so I don't know if it counts as abandonware... I got mine with a magazine its a CD though I also have Netstorm:islands at war, a rather unknown strategy game... actually its more like a puzzle game you wage war by building bridges and offensive-towers... the point of the game is to build a bridge to the enemy island, while using the towers to destroy the enemy towers and stuff... you eventually have to sacrifice the enemy priest... got that game with a magazine aswell Return to Zork is somewhere in my room and sim city 2:network edition |
