i just bought the sam and max/day of the tentacle game bundle (the one in the british dvd style box) it works perfectly but the sount is really garbled in sam and max what do i need to do

Are you running in DOS or DOSBox or with ScummVM? If not you should be. Try fiddling with the sound settings depending on your emulator (or soudcard).

My bet is that the problem is the sound card, and the settings cannot fix it by running it normally in windows. To fix the problem, I would use Dos-box. Of course, I would copy the dott folder to a directory and mount that as it's own drive in Dos-box, ect.

I have another problem related to sound settings of Sam & Max Hit The Road.
When I launch the game with ScummVm the intro with Lucas Arts logo does appear but after that the debugger tells: ERROR: startTalkSound: SFX file is not open Does anyone have any idea what should be done with this? |
