A while ago, I wrote ultratracker. Braindead asked for it, and maybe others are interested in the source too. No ocx's or dll's used for the modediting/playing. All written by myself. See how slow vb6 is!!!
http://members.lycos.nl/vbforum/down...file=utsrc.zip .EDIT. UltraTracker is a module file editor, with software mixing caps. You can edit songs, samples, and some other things with it. Mod files are known as Amiga Module Files. Besides that it uses my own format, Koen Module File (*.KMF, why not? ), which is smaller than .MOD because of compression. Plus: MOD is a plug-in of UT, and you can make more plug-ins for ut, not that you want that, but just for an example how to make plug-ins for your own VB app. |

Music editing tool, like Modplug Tracker and the likes, although I can't get it to actually play the music when hitting the play-button. Awesome besides that

I'll check it out, but if it's slower than bassmod I'll stick to bassmod
Edit: I checked it out, but the playback isn't very accurate. If you want to compare the mods I tested download my Mordor Editor here the mod-files are extracted from the exe when you run it to your Temp-dir (run command in dos set temp to see what your temp-dir is). Copy the mods from the temp-dir to somewhere else, open them in your player and you'll see playback of the files isn't as it should be Nice effort though, let me know if you update it. |
