Well, i never played the englisch Version but the German Version and it dont have this Bug.
Even i dont like MM 6-9 (because i'm more of a Retrogamer then someone who only play the newest Game that are on the Markt), that dont mean you will dislike it too. It is just my personal feeling.
I didnt play MM 2 so i cant tell if its bad or good.
