I've managed to avoid that (unless you count irritating forwards from my friends saying "Forward this to 16 people in 30 seconds or you'll be eternally cursed and no-one will ever want to kiss you EVER AGAIN!"). It helps to have addresses, particularly on Hotmail, which aren't obvious ones that a robot might generate (like
johnsmith567@hotmail.com). my Gmail account has had to have a couple of spamming accounts blacklisted on it, but the filter had no problem dealing with them.
