As for the "Memory Cache" problem, two steps solution:

1. Run Setsound with Vdmsound and select "No Digital Audio".

2. Run Ccs.exe with Vdmsound and there you go...
Of course running it with no sound will fix a sound-related error!

You're an *** no insults! -strobe. He wants to know how to fix the problem AND run it with sound.

I'm having the same problem and I have no idea how to fix it. The problem is duplicated with DOSBox, VDMSound, and running it native in WinXP... Always ""unable to allocate memory for sound/voice directory cache." It's getting on my nerves.
