Many people don't seem to like it because of it's now dated graphics and hardcore roleplay environment. I personally trhink it is one of the most amazing games to ever be produced. It has everything anyone could ever want from an online game other than a fully 3D engine. A 3D engine isn't required to have a brilliant game I don't know why people in the online gaming community think this is so as so many people slag UO off and say games like Everquest and Dark Age of Camelot are better.
