First episode of podcast with both Scott and Mark and one of their employees Chris Pope (their agent and the guy who runs the site). Lot of neat information, but here's the highlights.
* After leaving Sierra Mark Crowe worked in Pipeworks Software, while Scott Murphy stayed out of the game business.
* They haven't been in contact with each other for over 15 years because of some bitterness. However, things have now been patched up and they're good friends again, probably better than over.
* They got lot of staff members ready, but they're not ready to reveal the roster yet. They hinted that some of their old friends might be working with them.
* New game not Space Quest, but most likely its still gonna have lot of similarities to Space Quest. New Space Quest might be possibility in the future
* Gary Owens will be back for narrating. There will be other professional voice talent.
* They have some inital backing, but yeah, its gonna be yet another Kickstarter. However, they're not jumping straight into it, but wait for a while and plan it (Probably a good thing since
one studio didnt plan carefully and this happened. They haven't ruled out working with bigger studios though.
And lot of other fun stuff. Like at the end they reveal there was going to be a brother for Sludge Vohaul, called Slash. I recommend listening to it.
