Starting to think that maybe since myself and many patrons here see the dots, and my other friends dont it could be some sort of plasma burn from having spent way to many years in front of computer screens

Just out of interests sake for those who may experience the ringing in the ears predicating a dream like state,
use it! i had the experience yesterday and although i wouldnt call it "lucid dreaming" as some describe. I was able to control the dream somewhat, sending me off on a wonderful journey through a cyberpunk universe, where a companion and i were being d/led with any skill set we needed... martial arts, helicopter flying.... mayhem insued
Dreaming can be fun! lol
