Guitar-wise, I'd have to say Frank Zappa, Marty Friedman, and of course, David Gilmour. Also, unfortunately, Kirk Hammett... He's great and all, but I just inherited his style without me wanting it; I think it's due to fiddling around in just the one scale and using a wah pedal too much... Anyhoo,

Also, I resonate with The Bard. When I heard Rick Wright died, I felt really sad... R.I.P. and thank you for your beautiful music, Rick. The thing that really breaks my strings is that Lennon, Wright, Barrett, Cliff Burton, and oh so many talented musicians are dead and BRITNEY SPEARS LIVES! Argh!
