I myself can't say for sure, either. I still have to play the second part sometime in the future. Funny thing is mobygames classifies it as a RPG, wikipedia an action-adventure and gamespot as an adventure. I'm sure about Heimdall, though. It has everything an RPG should have: level progression, looting for items, a party of six people, character skills (runelore, strength, dexterity etc) and so on. The only thing similiar to an adventure are a couple (1-2) of puzzles. But who said RPGs can't have this kind of puzzles too, anyways?
