Managed to get my normals working, here's a quick render of the almost finished texture
the skin is very rough though, I'm thinking of making him more scaley...
I've bought a couple of mens fitness magazines too so I'll probably be going over the definition of musculature at a later stage since his pex are too flat anyway.
