Default Twilight 2000

There was a very cool simulation/RPG/strategy game I can remember playing in the early to mid 90's...

It was set in a WW3 or maybe cold-war era eastern Europe. You play as a resistance group fighting against an evil Russian dictator, if i remember corretly.

To start, you would draft a team of individuals that were created either randomly or thru a very detailed manual process of assigning stats such as strength, endurance, intelligence, etc, and selecting skills ranging anywhere from heavy weapons to civil enginerring, medicine, and every possible eastern european language.

Then, using the teams starting funds, you go shopping for supplies such as medicines, vaccines, blood plasma, food rations, fuel, Small arms, anti-tank weaponry and attack vehicles.

From that point the game gives you missions to complete using your different resources and the different skills of your team members. for instance "bring medical aid to the village of durovsky" or whatever. After selecting your team and supplies, you leave the HQ and travel across a 3D landscape in a humvee or whatever vehicle youve chosen.

I can also remeber some turn-based combat, similar to the old AD+D "curse of the azure bonds" style with modern weapons.

I had just gotten into the game, when I ended up PC-less for many years. I'd love to remember the name of the game, please help!
