OK, archery is a bit tricky, but you'll get the hang of it soon.
Watch the archer. He'll get ready to shoot and will move his arm back and forth. When he pulls the bow strong press space (this gives the strength of the shot).
After that you need to set the mark on the target. Take wind in consideration (that bronze/golden rooster at the bottom shows the direction of the wind).
More power means a straighter line for the arrow. If you had no power at all it will deffinetly miss (no matter where you try to aim). Enough power and a fair enough aim and you'll hit the target. A lot of practice and you'll be hitting bull's eyes (instead of romantic flower-picker's behinds).
