I've seen games that were abandonware or even intended to be freeware sold in bundles before. It's because the bundle isn't abandonware but the game (in this case Battle Chess for Windows) is.

Not in our definition. As long as a bundle is sold, the game counts as being sold rather than abandoned, unless it has been officially made freeware.
