W3.11 runs directly ànd flawless in dosbox 0.72.
And I d'rather run W3.x games that way then directly in XP, no need to clutter up my Win with all those (for NT) INI files, dlls and whatever was used in those days.
And no, it's NOT dual boot, as said, runs flawless in dosbox.(800x600 is my screen setting there). Neat.
Dosbox runs also flawless in Vista, on a non-admin account, simply use your own folders, and aboutt the C root mount: forget it.
BTW: it's common to run as non-admin on Unix likes, it's one of the major security settings.
And once again, you're not advising people who knows (or should know) what they doing, but peeps who apparently only know how to click something to get it working.
That gives YOU responsability when they screw up.
