I have a really bad/weird fear of dark places. It's different in different houses. Unfortunately, it's very bad in the house I live in, I can barely go to the bathroom during the night when I wake up, but at my fathers house, I can go into the basement in the middle of the night, and I'm not afraid at all... really weird.
And also, I can not possibly as much as look at a picture of living shrimps or pretty much all non whale/fish sea animals. It's the same with spiders. Everytime I see a picture of a spide in a book I'm reading, I immediately cover it with something (never my hand, I don't know why).

The thing with sea animals began with a dream I had about 8-10 years ago, in which there were dozens of huge, living crabs crawling on the floor in the house I lived in then, and they were trying to cut my legs.

I think the thing about the dark started when I was about 4 years old (1992) when my father drew a huge picture of his grandfather, and put it on the wall in our house. Then, for a few weeks, I had the same dream:

I am playing outside of our house, in the sun, when some men with shovels come and start digging a hole in our front lawn. They dig very fast for a short amount of time, and suddenly they pull, out of the hole, a brown coffin, and then they raise the coffin so its not lying, like they regularly are, but it stands on one end, facing me. Then suddenly everything is dark, and the coffin opens, and in there is the body of my father's grandfather, and he takes a few steps towards me, enough so that he is standing just a few inches from me, and then I always woke up.

I always went to my parents' bedroom after that dream and I went to sleep betweed them, but always before I fell asleep again, it looked as if my father's grandfather was standing in the window. (I later found out that the human figure I saw, was just the things that seperated the glass in the window).

I'm so afraid of dark, that now, as I am writing this at 4:48am, I have turned on every light in the apartment (except for the ones in my brother's room, as he is sleeping there).
