Oh, I forgot to mention the other effect those bugs have on the game.
After some gameplay these bugs happen to the AI players as well, so at some point you will see their research or production skyrocket at amazing rates.. basically you know they suddenly have lots and lots of engineers or assm workers.
Also this can have a negative impact, on one game I have 2 of the AI players doing ok on the market and next month they are losing money at 20,000,000$ a month rate or so which drives them bankrupt in 1 month. And then they keep restarting and going bankrupt every few months.
