Well not correct my dear friend... it's the 43rd most sold game serie in the world.
You seem to forget series like Mario, Final Fantasy, Zelda. In total all GTA games has sold 21 million games, Mario 64 alone sold 8 million whilst Super Mario Bros 3 sold 27 million games.
