The first one has the advantage it can read/write compressed images also.
In the settings of the first one disable 'description' in 'settings' before read/writing a new image for max compability with other programs
The possiblities to save floppy image files for the first one are:
Uncompressed *.img -> maximum compability with other programs.
Compressed *.imz -> smaller, not compatible with all image programs.
Self-extracting *.exe -> creates a selfextracting image file, you don't need the program to write the image on a floppy.
It's an excellent program to backup your valuable game flops.
About the second one:
If you have a lot of games on floppies, and you want to backup them on CD or so, remember to store each in a own folder.
It read/write *cyl.bin format, would be a complete mess if you put all the flops in one folder.
Thought a bit explaination wouldn't be bad here, as you didn't seem to know much about floppy images.
