Seeing that I'm running out of HDD space on my machine (...again... <_< 450 GB seems to be waay too little nowadays
![Who, me?](http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/images/smilies/generic/whistling)
), I've decided that some of the junk I've been accumulating would be best off burned to DVDs for storage rather than eating up HDD space.
Now... even if I labeled each and every DVD with a full content list, finding anything in what I project to be about 50 DVDs worth of stored data would still be a headache.
Some years back, I remembered hearing about programs that could index the contents of the disc and save them to a database, so I went on the lookout - unfortunately, the number of them alone makes it pretty much impossible to check every one.
Thus, I'd like to ask for the opinion of folks in here - what freeware programs of this kind have you been using and which one would you reccomend. Thanks.
