Part one is! Just try finishing without the walkthrough (like I did the first time). I don't usually get stuck for that long - but it took me half a year (mostly because I playd it on C64 without the game save option and had to start from the begining every time).

You're telling me!!! I dl ZAK this past weekend with the walkthrough (it's the first adventure type game I've ever tried) and I could not imagine doing it w/o the walkthrough. I know I'm a bit obtuse at times, but if all adventure games are this tough I can imagine giving up in frustration all too often. No sense of accomplishment using the walkthrough, but it at least it helped me get a taste of this game genre. Any suggestions on which game to try next?
