I wasn't around when IFs/text adventures were big, and this was first released (Or at least, I wasn't old enough), but I've been getting into them recently. This is one of the more interesting ones I've played. Thank god I read (and loved) the books, or I'd never have even gotten out of the garden
As it is, I haven't gotten out of the pub yet... still, I haven't been playing it long yet.
Anyway, the puzzles are great, but they have been in some ways kind of a surprise, since I didn't realise I was really in the midst of a puzzle- like getting out of the house before a 'dozer crashed through the wall and killed me, or taking the towel from ford before greeting him, and seemingly getting abandoned by him... But it's all good, and funny to boot
