Or for some people it just DOES NOT WORK, unless one of the hoops includes running VMware or Virtual Machine, which I don't want to do. I have the version that worked on either Windows 95 OR DOS can't get it to run in either. I've tried DOSBox, XP compatibility settings, followed
this guide to the letter, user made patches, Sierra's patch, the game just won't run in XP for me. It sucks because even though some people here don't like it, that's one of my all-time favorite games.
Rama is a close second for me. Very atmospheric and the music in that game in that game is incredible, too bad it's at crappy 22khz mono. Oh, while the game is 3 discs, only 2 are required, the 3rd is just extras, interviews with Arthur C Clarke, etc.
