It was all text. No pictures at all, not even ascii art.
I am fuzzy about the goal but I do know that you had to go through this haunted house (first you had to get into it, but before that there was stuff around the town to do), and then you had to kill a monster. I remember that I killed it by throwing a bottle of acid on it. Or something crazy like that.
I played it at the time on an Epson computer with an amber monochrone screen, not that these details have absolutely anything to do with the game, I am just reminiscing
I wish I could think of more info, does that help at all?
