@Anubis - It's in fine working order thank you, and so are about 96% (according to a survey) of all other purchases, you are thinking of the PS2's staggering 62% of models that work without a hitch.

That PS2 statistic comes from MS web site?
Reason of many PS2 returns (and many were not accepted back) is because people tried to mod their consoles. I purchased 3 of them, and all 3 working fine. Many of my friends got PS2, and none had any problem with it.
NGC is even better.
