Posts are deleted for breaking the rules.
The rules most commenly used (but these are informal) are that minor infractions are edited not deleted but if a post is (almost) entirely rule breaking then it will be deleted.
Now if you want to know what these rules are, right now it would be normal netiquete but I am working on more formal rules (yes Kosta I AM still working on them
