Hello Abandonians! :bye:
I'm back finally. My computer is up and running again, the downtime was almost 3 weeks. I'm woring at a computer service for a week now, and my computer there. I got a new motherboard, same model as the old one (ECS Elitegroup VIA K7VTA 3.1), and done some memory sorting too. The machine looks functional right now, but I don't know how long will it last. We still don't know what was the problem, but a hard guess was the memory. I think the memory modules just can't get along with each other (2x128MB and a 512MB module).
The data loss looks parmanent, sadly

All my data lost in the mysterious "incident" is lost forever, as far as it seems right now. We found out at the service that the file headers (indexes->Mft) are corrupted. This why they are unreadable. The files themselves are intact and readable, but the header is messed up, so they are useless in this state. It is so painful to know that my data is THERE but I cannot access them correctly.
But the system and the OS is functioning now (after 6 reinstalls and 2 full formattings <_< ), but something still feels fishy.
The thing is, I'm back and I will stay as long as I can.

I'm working next week full time, so don't count on me that much, but I do what I can

k: Also I have to prepare for the university, campus etc, so I will have a LOT of work to do until September. What after it, who knows... But I remain a true Abandonian until the end of my life
