Forums - looking for a strategy game! thanks for the helpers!

Ok so I'm looking for a sci-fi strategy game.
the gameplay was similar to C&C, real time strategy game that you build buildings and army...
i remember pretty much a lot, i tried to search for the name i think it was called but couldn't find it.
1.the name was something like space wars, i remember that in the main menu the A was part of the two words like:
SP/\CE
W/--\RS
(if space wars is the real name)
there is another game that called space wars or something like that but he isn't that game, you will see when you will continue reading
it was blue main menu and i think the backround was kinda asteroids falling into a planet
this game from 1995-1999, i think its from 1997 but can't tell...

2.there was 4 empire races, gray/black ones that was androids(human looking like robots), green ones that was some white skined asians humans, blue ones that was kind of aliens, and red ones that was muscular human/human shaped creature, which also was the icon of the game, a red race soldier standing holding a pole, each race got a name but i dont remember the names

3.you start at space with 2 spaceships, small battle ship, and transport spaceship, with the transport ship you can deploy units on a planet and try to conquer it, once you got a planet you can build units and spaceships

4.when you conquering a planet you build some kind of HQ from a unit, then you can build more stuff, you can build buildings that collect resources, making ground units, air units, and at the sea sea units,guarding towers,walls and more.
you can be in peace or war with the other races on the planet,if you are in war you can pay the enemy money to be in peace,or they will offer to you money to be in peace, and you can trade resources with them, you also can buy thier side(all the buildings,units and ect) which is also a way to conquer the planet.

5.there was no soldiers, all the units was tanks\jeeps and ect.
you could command a unit to shoots trees and the trees will burn, then after some time the fire turn of and you can shoot the burnt tree and destroy it, you could order units to patrol.
i remember few gaurding towers, there was a gaurding tower that launched number of missiles, the missiles follows the target, another one was laser and there was also some kind of electric one, there was another one that i think that was machinegun

thats all i remember so far, i live in a boarding school so i wont be able to replay soon, hopefully ill find this game
