Hi, i have i question about 1 old game , its about megaman x ,i need full version to download ,please help me..

troop18546 06-09-2005 09:06 PM

Have you checked the games section?
If it's not there, this site doesn't have it, or maybe not yet.
There's also a chance it's ESA, so no go then.

You could try this: http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/download/game/147

edit: Crap, this is a demo, damn. :tai:
Uhh... I'll check again...#working#

troop18546 06-09-2005 09:17 PM

Well, there is a version for SNES if you like, you can get an emulator for free and the game is located in: www.rom-world.com

this was not an ad.

Blood-Pigggy 06-09-2005 10:33 PM

Yo man.
Capcom = not abandonware.
You can probably find it at Troop's link or somewhere else (a quick search on Google could do it) but it'll probably never be on this site.

Or it'll be very difficult to find.

troop18546 07-09-2005 02:06 PM

Well, he got it at the link for snes roms. I enjoyed the game myself thank you very much. :ok:

Troop, are you aware

1.That you've just been talking about warez?

2.That you posted a warez link?

3.That posting links to warez is a violation of the board rules?

4.That this will score you a warn as soon as the mods become aware of your actions?

Bobbin Threadbare 12-09-2005 05:46 PM

LOL, that was funny. I thought Megamann was Marvel. Odd. I probably thought this becouse I played Marvel vs. Capcom recently on the MAME.

If I may correct...

Technically ROMs are not illegal as long as you own the game in the first place, every user/player is entitled to a back up copy, so technically thats not a warez site, though probabally judging from the request icein doesn't have the game. And ya I'm aware that I'l rbly get my warn up for arguing. :max:

That's the stupidiest and, at the same time, mightiest urban legend I ever seen on the internet.

It's utterly false.

Shambler 14-09-2005 12:44 AM

I had this game for the SNES and a friend of mine had it for the PC. The SNES version was infinitely superior. But anywho, piracy is bad.

Yes but they are legal only if you've extracted them from your own cartridge, and not download them from the internet...

Bobbin Threadbare 14-09-2005 09:05 AM

I've wanted to do that. Anyone know how?

Man, You're Canadian. Why do you think we pay a surcharge on almost ALL recordable media?

I am now.

First off - I thought he owned the game.

Second, the first link was to a site like this and plus it was a demo, nothing you can pin on me at that one :bleh: . For the second link - "I thought he owned the game."
That clear enough? Don't make me into a criminal all of a sudden. <_<

About ROM's you CAN take them if your copy is dead or smth. As I said, I thought he had the game, so I made a mistake. Geez.

Bobbin Threadbare 14-09-2005 05:36 PM

You sure. Aww, c'mon. One of ya's has to know how to extract the files from a game cartridge.

troop18546 14-09-2005 06:36 PM

Never tried man, no idea.

That's exactly the point! Where else than on the internet you'd want to download them? ;)

Galadrin 15-09-2005 12:27 AM

Perhaps you missed the court ruling where a judge determined that it was legal to download so long as you are doing so as a means to back up a product you own. Uploading however is another story.

i agree , one game itīs mine i can make a copy to me but i donīt have the right to put in net.

blastradius14 15-09-2005 12:32 AM

Last I checked most people don't know where to get equipment to copy information from cartriges. Do you think they still produce them for the NES? LOL
