Well, as someone said on the wiki talk page, Underdogs lost her interest in that site, so "or whether this may be the final crash in HOTU's illustrious career." might be true.

AB FTW!!!!!!!!!!!111111oneoneone... damn, that's not good news.. we need a site like HotU to have the massive numbers while we provide the quality.

I hope someone else will take over.. If she now lost intrest, why don't sell?

I'm not sorry for their condition, although they had lots of games, they didn't interest me and the constant lag was unbearable, good ridance.

Aw dang it. On a personal note, this kind of decreases my chances to make an aquisition or two I was trying to in the background.

Wow, that's awfull. Home of the Underdogs was the first Abandonware website I've ever been to and I'd say it'd have to be my favourite (Just because I can download ESA protected games!)

You can not download ESA protected games from it you ignorant, as they usually stop hosting them.

Sad if HOTU dissapears... I played so many good games from them

They were doing illegal sharing of protected and sold games, TH. You yourself had taught me to respect the creator's intensions to help the game not be illegally distributed or downloaded on the internet. I am a fan of abandonware, but you, "sir", are going against your own rule by "convicting" me of not being an abandonware fan, because I do not support HOTU and their wrong-doing. I'm surprised by you. :blink:
If you really want them back so bad, sir, then why not host ESA protected games yourself? <_< You'll be saving Sarinee the trouble.

Another fact: Abandonware IS illegal, Abandonia is hosting copyrighted games if they're not sold like HOTU. Abandoned = not sold anymore, but that doesn't mean they're not copyrighted. You would have to wait 75 years before they would not be copyrighted anymore.

HOTU is like a glorious game museum to me, and both Abandonia and HOTU occupy a special place in my abandonware heart. HOTU dying would be like one of my ventricles clogging up and ultimately exploding! XD

If abandonwere is illegal, then why noone is closing sites like Underdogs or Abandonia? Because noone cares? Because many people find it normal to NOT pay for anything that can be found on the Internet?
I don't want to say, that I do not download things, because I do. But some of the games i BUY. The ones that I really like. I want the authors to gain money, and create something more excellent. Same with the music (not with the movies, because sooner or later, it'll be on TV)

That is the nature of the word "abandoned". Illegal or not, no one cares.
