DatSimGuy6007 I've seen so many different posts about getting puppies in WOLF that I'm not sure what to believe.

The first thing I read was that you become alpha and mate with the other alpha in autumn when both of your stats are completely full while alone/away from the rest of the pack.

Then apparently you can mate regardless of your pack status and stats but it must be in winter and being around your pack doesn't matter.

Then apparently you can mate in any season but you must both be alphas and full.

What are the exact conditions for mating? And how long is pup gestation?

Smiling Spectre "Default" usually means "quite slow". Try to speed things up with Ctrl+F12.

Yah, using DOSbox. I believe the settings are right because the only thing I changed were to add sound.

Wolf laggy?

Is DOS making the WOLF game laggy/buggy? Like whenever I walk, run or trot, the mouse and the whole game shakes slightly. If you get it?
It's really annoying, it started to happen like that when I got to fix the sound problem for the game.

Question, what is the animal that makes that god awful SKREEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEWWWWK!!!!!! sound?
I believe it's an elk. When you get close enough to it, you can hear that sound.

Help! I really want to play this game so badly, but whenever I open the "WOLF" application... it says "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running." HELP! It also says stuff about "contact the software publisher"... I REALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS!!!

Japo Just click on the big red button that says "get it!" You have to do it twice in a row, after a second page loads. Don't worry about requests to donate, it's not required to download.

You get a zip file that you must unpack. If you don't know how you can check this tutorial:

And then you need DOSBox to play, here's a simple tutorial:
