Saccade Another Ghostery adept. Nice.

It only blocks the ad trackers, Nextinline, not the adverts themselves.
It's primary use is to mask yrself from the targetted ad trackers and any other software that would trace your net activity.
(primarily the latter)

If you want to block the ads totally, you'll have to get another bit of kit.
However, clicking on one of the ads at Abandonia.com - and making sure the page loads entirely - will help keep the site going because of [financial stuff. probably].

Dave Never had such problems with Google Chrome and AB, probably it's fault of an advertisement. They are different for every user since they follow your nationality.

Yes, Safari lets me visit. Its gives me a warning, I choose to ignore it by continuing, then I enter Abandonia.

In my previous example with another site, I would choose to ignore the warning but I would still be blocked from entering the site by Safari (and Firefox). Sorry if I was not clear in my previous posting...

Saccade This is just probably just because Abandonia has Adverts from the people that your nanny-software is saying is spyware.
Safari must have started classifying those ad servers as spyware or something...

There are 4 ad trackers at Abandonia and I assure you -

NONE of them are harmful.

Same here with Safari 4.0.4 running on a MAC

I got the same type of warning here today with Safari 4.0.4 running on a MAC.

I've tried Firefox 3.5.5 and that doesn't give me any warning.

I've had that warning a few months ago visiting another site specialising in old PC games. On that occasion neither browser would let me access the site despite me acknowledging the possible dangers.
The good news is this time Safari lets me visit here!!
