Sure. For example, you can unpack only a portion of the archive's contents. Or ignore the directory sub-structure stored in the archive (it's a simple option).
Plenty ways to screw up if you don't know what you're doing.

giganto when i try to run the game in dosbox, it says, GAME.000 not found. please press enter. and if i do press enter, it just says the same thing over and over.

why do these things always happen to me?
